Yes—Pabllo Vittar performed before Lady Gaga at the free Copacabana Beach concert in Rio de Janeiro on May 3, 2025. Riotur’s post-event account places Vittar onstage at 19:30. Calling her a formally billed “opening act,” however, may overstate what the available accounts establish: the confirmed fact is that she was part of the pre-Gaga program.

The cited accounts establish that Vittar appeared before Gaga, but do not specify whether Vittar performed a DJ set or a conventional live vocal set.
Why was there confusion about an opening act?
Before the concert, gshow reported that the organizers had not disclosed which DJs would perform and quoted Rio’s culture secretary saying there would be no opening attraction. That was the advance expectation, not a complete account of the final event. The retrospective accounts describe the program that took place and include Vittar before Gaga.
