What is known about the timing
Reports say Colace and Laurinaitis became engaged in 2015 and married in 2016. Grant filed her federal lawsuit on January 25, 2024. News reports of Garcia’s confirmation appeared on October 16, 2024, so the public confirmation followed the lawsuit filing. What the lawsuit does—and does not—establish
Grant, a former WWE employee, filed a civil lawsuit naming WWE, Vince McMahon and Laurinaitis. The claims in a complaint are allegations, not findings of fact. TKO Group Holdings’ SEC filing says Laurinaitis was dismissed with prejudice from the federal matter on May 30, 2025. It also reports that Grant agreed to arbitration in July 2026 and voluntarily dismissed the federal lawsuit with prejudice on July 24, 2026. Was the divorce caused by the lawsuit?
The available sources establish chronology and a public confirmation, not motive. Neither the divorce report nor TKO’s legal-proceedings disclosure says the lawsuit prompted the separation. It is therefore accurate to say the divorce confirmation came after the lawsuit was filed, but not that the lawsuit caused the divorce.
