Alicia Keys joined Usher on stage at the Super Bowl LVIII halftime show on February 11, 2024. Justin Bieber did not perform; he was in the crowd. Beyoncé was not among the reported guests. The show took place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, so this is a question about a completed performance—not an upcoming Super Bowl.
Who joined Usher on stage?
Apple Music’s official retrospective names Alicia Keys, Jermaine Dupri, H.E.R., will.i.am, Lil Jon and Ludacris as collaborators in the show. Post-performance accounts describe their appearances during the set.
Alicia Keys
Keys appeared at a red piano to perform “If I Ain’t Got You,” then joined Usher for “My Boo.” The duet was a stage appearance, not just a reference to their earlier collaboration.
Other guests
- Jermaine Dupri made a cameo.
- H.E.R. performed on guitar.
- will.i.am joined Usher for “OMG.”
- Lil Jon and Ludacris joined him for “Yeah!”
Did Justin Bieber perform?
No. CBS Sports reported that Bieber was in the crowd, not on stage. His attendance—and pregame speculation about a possible appearance—should not be confused with performing as a guest.

Was Beyoncé a surprise guest?
Beyoncé was not among the reported guests in Apple Music’s retrospective or the reviewed post-show lineup. The available accounts therefore do not support saying she joined Usher.
Why were these names being discussed before the game?
Before kickoff, NBC Sports described possible guests including Keys, Bieber, Lil Jon, Ludacris and Pitbull as rumors, not confirmed participants. Bieber’s collaboration with Usher on “Somebody to Love” was context for the speculation, not evidence that he would appear. The completed show confirmed Keys and several other guests, but not Bieber or Beyoncé.

When and where was Usher’s performance?
The NFL, Apple Music and Roc Nation announced Usher as the Super Bowl LVIII halftime headliner on September 24, 2023. The game was scheduled for February 11, 2024, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The NFL announcement quoted Usher calling the booking “an honor of a lifetime” and describing the performance as a show unlike anything audiences had seen from him before.
TIME described the set as an 11-song medley. CBS Sports reported that the performance ran 15 minutes, two minutes longer than the usual 13-minute slot; those figures are the outlets’ descriptions of this performance, not a general NFL guarantee.
