That is cumulative attendance for the full tour—not the audience at one concert. The available reports do not identify a specific live-audience record the tour broke or provide a comparable previous record-holder.
What the reported attendance figures cover
| Figure | What it counts | Source and qualification |
|---|---|---|
| 524,000 | Attendance across 16 cities and 33 performances on the full tour | Attributed to BigHit Music in Yonhap’s June 15, 2025 report; the BTS Japan official release announcement also gives the total and 16-city scope. |
| 54,000 | Attendance across the two-day encore finale, June 13–14, 2025 | Attributed to BigHit Music by Yonhap; it is a combined two-day figure, not a one-show count. |
| 16 cities, 33 performances | Tour scope | Reported by Yonhap and listed by Avex Pictures, which describes it as J-Hope’s first solo world tour, beginning in Seoul in February 2025. |
The distinction matters: a cumulative tour total answers how many people attended across a run of concerts, while a live-audience record may refer to one performance, a venue, a tour, or another defined category. Those measurements cannot be treated as interchangeable.
Did J-Hope break a live audience record?
The available sources establish substantial attendance, but they do not substantiate the record claim. Neither report names the record category, identifies a previous benchmark, or explains how the compared audiences were counted. The 524,000 figure alone therefore cannot show that J-Hope set a live-audience record.
To verify a record claim, a comparison needs to specify whether it concerns one show or a whole tour, the geographic and time boundaries, whether the count is ticketed attendance or an estimate, and the same measurement method for both the claimed result and the earlier benchmark. The cited coverage does not supply that comparison or an audited ticketing statement.
