Irina Shayk was reportedly involved with Rob Bourdon, Linkin Park’s drummer, from 2007 to 2009. But the relationship was never confirmed by either of them in the account that reported it, so it is best described as a rumor—not an established chapter of Shayk’s dating history.
Who was the rocker Irina Shayk reportedly dated?
The musician named in the report is Rob Bourdon, Linkin Park’s drummer. Grazia’s dating-history retrospective says Bourdon and Shayk reportedly dated for two years, with the relationship ending in 2009. It places the reported period at 2007–2009, while stressing that the account is based on reports rather than confirmation from the people involved. Grazia’s retrospective is the source for the claim.

Was the relationship confirmed?
No. Grazia says neither Shayk nor Bourdon spoke about or confirmed the reported relationship. The available account therefore does not establish that they dated; it establishes that the story has been reported. There is no reliable basis here to describe how they met, why the reported relationship ended, or what either person thought about it.
Why is the story difficult to verify?
Shayk has described a general preference to keep her personal life private, but her comments do not verify the Bourdon report. In a 2023 ELLE interview, she said, “I share my work stuff because I decided to keep my personal life personal.” She also noted that some people she was said to be dating were people she had never met, a useful reminder that celebrity dating claims can be inaccurate. ELLE’s interview does not identify Bourdon as the subject of those remarks.

Likewise, a 2021 ELLE profile quoted Shayk saying, “My past relationship, it’s something that belongs to me, and it’s private.” The profile did not connect that comment to Bourdon. That profile supports the broader point that she has chosen not to discuss parts of her private life, not a conclusion about this particular report.
In 2021, Shayk also told Highsnobiety, in remarks quoted by Us Weekly, “Look, there’s always something there, and I’m just keeping it to myself.” The question concerned rumors about Kanye West, not Bourdon, so the quote should not be treated as confirmation of the earlier story. Us Weekly’s account gives that separate context.
