Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 10, “Kernel,” shows Inojin Yamanaka suffering a critical chest wound in a moment framed as a sacrifice. The scene reads as an apparent death, but the available account does not establish that Inojin is permanently dead in the story.
What happens to Inojin in Chapter 10?
Chapter 10, titled “Kernel,” centers the headline’s dramatic claim on Inojin Yamanaka. A synopsis in Renaldo Matadeen’s May 30, 2024 coverage describes Inojin as critically wounded in the chest and presents the moment as a sacrifice. That supports calling it an apparent-death scene, rather than confirming a lasting outcome. Matadeen’s report was surfaced through IMDb News; it is secondary coverage, not the manga chapter itself.

Did Inojin actually die?
The cited account does not settle whether Inojin dies permanently, nor does it establish how later chapters resolve his condition. The careful answer is that Chapter 10 depicts a critical injury and an apparent death; the evidence available here is insufficient to state that he remains dead in current canon. Confirming his later status requires the primary manga text or reliable reporting on subsequent chapters.
Where can you read the chapter?
Matadeen’s May 30, 2024 article reported that Chapter 10 was available through Viz Media at that time. That dated report does not confirm current access or availability in any particular region, so check Viz Media’s current listing for the chapter. The source does not identify which collected volume includes “Kernel,” and no specific volume or current retailer listing is verified here.
