What happened: a visit and a discussion, not a confirmed move
A November 2024 report by ScreenRant, surfaced through IMDb, said Elizabeth shared a Moldova travel image with Andrei and their children. That supports describing a family visit; it does not establish that they moved there permanently.

Separately, during season 9 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, Andrei discussed the possibility of moving to Moldova. TV Insider’s coverage of the televised exchange reports that he cited lower living costs, family and friends in Moldova, and the ability to work online. Those were his stated reasons for considering a move, not independently verified comparisons of the two countries or proof that the family followed through.
Andrei’s castmates raised concerns, including questions about Elizabeth’s preferences and raising children in Moldova, according to the same account. The exchange presented competing considerations, rather than a settled family decision.

When did Andrei announce his U.S. citizenship?

No government record is established by the sources cited here.
During the later season 9 discussion, Andrei said, “I did my citizenship because I came here for her,” as quoted by TV Insider. His comment connects his decision to pursue citizenship with his relationship, but it does not establish that citizenship prompted a relocation to Moldova.

TLC describes 90 Day Fiancé as following international couples as they navigate the 90-day K-1 visa process. Its official season 9 cast listing includes Elizabeth and Andrei, placing the Moldova conversation within the show’s televised narrative.

The idea of moving to Moldova had appeared in their storyline before. In a TLC retrospective, Andrei announced that the family was moving there, while Elizabeth said she did not want to move at that time. That account documents an earlier storyline, not a current move or proof that the announced plan happened.
