In 2025, David’s Bridal was reported to offer custom miniature wedding dresses, bridesmaid outfits and other clothing for Labubu dolls. The reported starting prices were $50 for wedding dresses and $35 for bridesmaid or other outfits, with a typical 4–6-week process depending on design complexity. Those are historical figures, not confirmation that orders are open now.
What David’s Bridal reportedly made for Labubu dolls
The service involved custom miniature outfits for Labubu, the collectible plush-toy characters. David’s Bridal described the clothing as designed to match a customer’s wedding dress, bridal-party looks and other styles. The Los Angeles Times reported on August 6, 2025 that the custom pieces could include wedding gowns and bridesmaid dresses.
The idea first drew attention through a viral employee video about a purported corporate memo. In that video, the employee reacted sarcastically; the clip itself did not establish a confirmed, ongoing service. Later coverage described actual custom outfits. The Daily Dot’s July 22, 2025 report covers the video, while subsequent reporting and David’s Bridal promotional content support that the company offered custom looks.
What the reported prices and turnaround were
CafeMom reported on August 26, 2025 that David’s Bridal promotional material listed starting prices of $50 for custom wedding dresses and $35 for bridesmaid dresses or other outfits. These are dated starting prices, not current quotes; the available reporting does not establish today’s prices or whether the service is still offered.

The Los Angeles Times described a typical turnaround of 4–6 weeks, varying with design complexity. That was a reported process estimate in 2025, not a current delivery promise.
Can you still order a Labubu outfit from David’s Bridal?
Current availability is unverified. The David’s Bridal page associated with Labubu currently shows general bridal and occasion-shopping navigation rather than confirmation of an active custom Labubu service. The page therefore does not establish that orders are being accepted, what they cost, which stores participate, or how long a new order would take.
