Brayden Bowers proposed to Christina Mandrell during the televised Golden Wedding special in January 2024, and she accepted. The event was Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist’s televised wedding—not a private wedding hosted by the couple. Bowers and Mandrell later married in a small ceremony on December 12, 2024, with Mandrell’s daughter, Blakely, present.
What happened during the Golden Wedding broadcast?
Bowers proposed to Mandrell during the January 2024 special celebrating Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist’s wedding. The proposal took place live on air, and host Jesse Palmer announced the engagement during the broadcast: “Brayden and Christina Mandrell just got engaged here live at the Golden Wedding.” Mandrell said yes.
In his proposal speech, Bowers spoke about meeting Mandrell and spending time with her daughter, Blakely. He also described feeling comfortable being himself with Mandrell: “For the first time in my life. I feel like I found someone that I can be myself with unapologetically.”

What was Christina Mandrell’s engagement ring like?
Bachelor Nation reported in January 2024 that designer Neil Lane described the ring as an 18-karat rose-gold setting with a princess-cut center diamond and a two-tier halo. The report said it featured more than 109 diamonds and approximately 1.75 total carats. Those are reported design details, not an independent appraisal of the ring.
The description supports calling it a rose-gold, princess-cut halo engagement ring; it does not establish that the exact design is currently available for purchase.

When did Brayden Bowers and Christina Mandrell get married?
The couple said they married on December 12, 2024, in an intimate ceremony attended by Bowers, Mandrell, and her daughter, Blakely. Blakely filmed parts of the day. Bachelor Nation reported the marriage in January 2025.
The private ceremony contrasted with their televised engagement. In a later interview discussed by Bachelor Nation, Mandrell recalled, “We got engaged very publicly… I was so surprised. It was so magical, it was just everything I could’ve dreamed and more. And public also.” The couple said they wanted a wedding that felt more private, and that planning a larger gathering was difficult with their families spread across different locations.
