Harjes as Pete Baylor on Manifest
Harjes had a recurring role on NBC’s Manifest as Pete Baylor. TheWrap reported that he appeared in nine episodes. Apple TV’s official cast-and-episode index identifies Harjes as Pete Baylor in the show’s second and third seasons and lists episodes including “Unaccompanied Minors,” “Icing Conditions,” and “Deadhead.”
Pete was part of the show’s broader mythology involving the passengers of Flight 828 and the consequences of their mysterious return. The role introduced Harjes to a large contemporary television audience beyond his earlier work in Boardwalk Empire.

Family and survivors
Harjes’s official obituary names his parents, Randy and Rosanne Harjes; his sister, Trish Harjes, and her husband, Justin Kelley; nephews Tristin and Sawyer Kelley; nieces Rory and Charly Kelley; his former wife, Shiva Shobitha; and his cat, Maude.
Shobitha, whom TheWrap also identified as an actress who appeared on Gotham, should be described as Harjes’s former wife rather than his current spouse.
The obituary portrayed Harjes as a dedicated martial-arts student, a regular gym-goer, and someone deeply fond of animals. It directed people interested in memorial giving to TKC Blessings, with donations intended to support scholarships for children pursuing the arts. Anyone considering a contribution should confirm the organization’s current status and donation instructions before giving, since those details can change.
