Do Dante and Vergil return?
Yes. Netflix’s season overview describes a story in which Dante confronts Vergil, his estranged twin brother, after Vergil’s return forces Dante to face the family he lost as a child. Netflix Tudum’s season 2 announcement identifies Johnny Yong Bosch as the voice of Dante and Robbie Daymond as the voice of Vergil.
Their reunion sits within a larger conflict between the human and demon worlds, with Dante’s family history at the center. The story continues the animated adaptation of Capcom’s video-game franchise, led by Adi Shankar and animated by Studio Mir, according to Netflix Tudum.

What is the Netflix series about?
The series follows demon hunter Dante as he becomes entangled in a plot threatening the boundary between worlds. Netflix’s listing says the first episode opens with a violent heist at a Vatican City museum that draws him into a plan to open a rift between the human and demon realms. The animated adaptation is based on Capcom’s games; viewers do not need to play a particular game to follow the show.
