Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert danced a Paso Doble on Dancing with the Stars on October 19, 2020. The routine was set to “Uccen” by Taalbi Brothers. Hough, then a season 29 judge, joined Erbert on the ballroom floor for the performance.

Why Hough chose the Paso Doble
In his TV Insider interview ahead of the episode, Hough called the Paso Doble “one of my favorite dances.” He also said that he and Erbert were sore after dancing full-out and mentioned practicing and using ice baths to recover. Those comments describe Hough’s account of preparing for the routine.
