What’s new about Dept. Q Season 2?
Netflix’s June 25 update confirmed that Season 2 production was underway in Edinburgh and announced a large returning and new cast. The official story tease points to a terrible crime concealed among Scotland’s powerful; Netflix has not disclosed fuller plot details.
At a September 21 panel at the Bloody Scotland festival in Stirling, executive producer Rob Bullock said filming was 15 weeks into a planned 20-week shoot. The panel offered production context and brief character teases, not a release date or a full plot reveal.
