Who is Upper Moon Four?
Hantengu is the demon holding Upper Rank Four during the Swordsmith Village confrontation. His manifestations make him difficult to fight, but they are not the true target: the official anime story synopsis notes that Tanjiro appears to cut Hantengu’s neck without striking his main body. Hantengu can therefore remain a threat even after that apparent decapitation.

How do Hantengu’s manifestations work?
Hantengu’s emotional manifestations create multiple dangerous bodies on the battlefield. This forces his opponents to manage immediate threats while searching for the small, hidden main body. Beheading an apparent form does not necessarily end the fight, because the body that matters has not yet been reached.
The manifestations can also combine. According to the SEGA Zohakuten character page, Sekido absorbs Karaku, Urogi, and Aizetsu to form Zohakuten. The official anime story material describes Zohakuten as the four emotion demons combined into one body and marked by “Hatred.”

What can Zohakuten do?
The SEGA character page names three abilities: lightning, ultrasonic waves, and dragons created from wood. Its description states, “He is able to manipulate lightning, ultrasonic waves, and dragons created from wood.” These are the abilities explicitly supported by the cited character reference; it does not provide a complete move-by-move inventory for every manifestation.
Why doesn’t cutting Hantengu’s neck end the fight?
Because the neck Tanjiro cuts is not Hantengu’s concealed main body. The manifestations keep up the attack and draw the fighters’ attention, while the real body remains the target they must locate and reach. The fight is therefore both a battle against the manifestations and a search for Hantengu himself.

Where does the manga cover the battle?
VIZ’s Volume 15 page says Tanjiro finally chases down Hantengu’s main body. Volume 14 describes the battle against Hantengu and Gyokko as a lead-in. These publisher pages identify relevant volumes; they do not establish current retailer inventory.
