“Demon Slayer” Season 4 Episode 7 centers on Stone Hashira Gyomei Himejima. Tanjiro gets advice from Genya during rock training, manages to move the rock, then collapses from exhaustion. Himejima helps him and, moved by Tanjiro’s sincerity, tells him about his own past. That makes the episode about more than a physical test: it also gives viewers a window into the Hashira who leads it.
What happens in Episode 7?
Aniplex’s official synopsis describes Tanjiro struggling through Himejima’s rock-training exercise. Genya offers him advice; Tanjiro ultimately moves the rock but uses all his strength and collapses. Himejima helps him, then responds to Tanjiro’s sincere feelings by sharing his past. The synopsis does not establish further scene-by-scene details, so this is best treated as a spoiler-light outline rather than a full recap.
The episode’s Japanese title is “岩柱・悲鳴嶼行冥,” rendered as “The Stone Hashira, Gyomei Himejima.” Aniplex’s June 17, 2024 announcement provides the title and official stills, while its episode-story page supplies the synopsis: Aniplex episode story and title and stills announcement.
Why does Himejima’s training matter?
The Hashira Training Arc is preparation for the coming fight against Muzan, according to Aniplex’s official series introduction. Episode 7 puts that larger purpose into one demanding exercise: Tanjiro has to apply effort and advice to move a massive obstacle, and the effort leaves him physically spent. The scene illustrates the cost of training without suggesting that one success completes his preparation.

Himejima’s response adds a personal dimension. The exercise tests Tanjiro’s body, but his exchange with the Stone Hashira leads to a disclosure about Himejima’s past. Is there an official sneak-peek clip?
The official material established here is an episode synopsis and a set of stills. Those sources do not verify a distinct video asset specifically labeled as a sneak peek, so the title phrase “sneak peek” should not be taken as confirmation of a separate preview clip.

When did Episode 7 air?
Episode 7 is a 2024 release, not an upcoming episode. Aniplex’s June 16, 2024 schedule announcement said the episode had a 40-minute broadcast slot on Fuji TV networks on June 23, with some regional exclusions. It also listed a June 29 broadcast for TOKYO MX, BS11, Gunma TV, and Tochigi TV, and streaming on participating services from June 24 at 00:30 Japan time. For international viewers, the official English-language anime site announced Crunchyroll as the exclusive weekly simulcast platform for the arc beginning May 12, 2024, where the service was available. That is a historical release announcement, not a guarantee that the episode is currently in every regional catalog.
