Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle returned to theaters in the United States and Canada on March 6, 2026. That date has passed. The theatrical event offered Japanese audio with English subtitles or an English dub, and select screenings were announced in SCREENX.
What happened on March 6, 2026?
Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment brought Infinity Castle back exclusively to theaters in the United States and Canada. The official announcement was published on February 20, 2026, and tickets went on sale that day. The announcement described the return as a theatrical release, not a new streaming premiere. Official U.S. theatrical-return announcement
What viewing options were announced?
Japanese with English subtitles or English dub
Audiences could choose Japanese with English subtitles or an English-dubbed presentation. The announcement did not specify which individual theaters or showtimes offered each version.
SCREENX at select theaters
The return also marked the film’s first availability in SCREENX, a cinema format using multiple projections to create a 270-degree field of view. The announcement does not establish how widely SCREENX was available, so it should not be assumed that every participating theater offered it.
