As of October 8, 2026, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 2 is in production, but no release date has been announced. The film is the second installment in a planned trilogy adapting the manga’s final arc; an installment-specific synopsis, cast list and streaming plan have not been announced in the official materials reviewed.
When is Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 2 coming out?
There is no confirmed release date. Crunchyroll’s July 2026 update said the second film was in production and that no release date had been announced. The official materials reviewed as of October 8, 2026, do not provide a date either.
Any specific year or window circulating online—including predictions of a 2027 release—should be treated as speculation, not a studio or distributor announcement. Rahul Purini, Crunchyroll’s CEO and president, said in a May 22, 2026, GamesRadar+ interview that the film was “actively in production” and that the company was waiting to share when the next movie would arrive. Those remarks confirmed production, not timing.
Is Infinity Castle Part 2 in production?
Yes. Crunchyroll reported in July 2026 that Part 2 was actively in production. That is the latest specific status in the material reviewed; it does not establish when production will finish or when the film will open.

What is confirmed about the trilogy and Part 2’s story?
The trilogy plan
Aniplex announced on July 1, 2024, that the Infinity Castle story would be produced as a three-part film series adapting the manga’s final arc. Part 1 is the first film in that plan, as reflected in the official English Demon Slayer series timeline.
Part 2’s plot details
The trilogy-level announcement does not specify which manga chapters, scenes or events belong in Part 2. The official materials reviewed do not include a Part 2-specific synopsis or chapter map. Manga readers may make informed guesses from the source material, but those guesses should not be confused with confirmed film details.

Has Part 2’s cast or streaming plan been announced?
No Part 2-specific cast list or streaming plan appears in the official materials reviewed. The trilogy announcement and franchise timeline establish the larger film plan, not the second installment’s individual cast or distribution arrangements. Until a distributor makes a specific announcement, claims about where or when Part 2 will stream remain unconfirmed.
Where can you watch the first Infinity Castle movie?
Part 1 is separate from Part 2. Crunchyroll’s July 2026 update covered Part 1’s streaming status as well as reporting that Part 2 was in production. Check Crunchyroll’s current listing in your region for availability: streaming catalogs and dates can vary by country, and the information in that update does not establish a Part 2 streaming date.
