Those are territory-specific theatrical dates, not a single worldwide opening date. The official international release announcement listed dates for many additional markets.

The March 2025 announcement said more dates would follow, so this is a selection from its schedule, not a complete list of every territory. Check the official announcement or local cinema listings for a specific market or any current screening; the original release dates have passed.
What was announced for North America?
The official announcement specified that the United States and Canada would get Japanese-language screenings with English subtitles and an English dub. It also named IMAX and other premium large formats. These were details of the 2025 theatrical release, not confirmation of current showtimes.

Is Infinity Castle the first of multiple movies?
Yes. The film is the first feature in a planned three-part theatrical adaptation of Demon Slayer’s final arc. The official announcement of the trilogy described a global theatrical release, with some Asian-region exclusions; the later date announcement named Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment as distributors. The official trilogy confirmation provides the original announcement.
Does the second Infinity Castle movie have a release date?
At the time of a GamesRadar+ interview published in May 2026, Crunchyroll CEO and president Rahul Purini said the next film was actively in production but that the company did not yet have a date to share. He also described the trilogy as three movies completing the story’s final arc, with two films still to come after the first. That interview establishes what was known then; it does not establish whether a later release-date announcement has been made. Check official Demon Slayer channels for the latest update.
