Those details come from interviews published in February 2025; they do not establish the pair’s relationship or Cook’s employment status today.
Why Dr. Will eliminated MG Cook
In the February 4, 2025 episode, Kirby won the right to eliminate a player at the Banker’s Temple and chose Cook. The move surprised her: she told TV Insider that she had spoken with him earlier that day and did not expect him to send her home.
TV Insider’s episode account said Cook appeared safer after Kirby had pushed to remove Courtney Kim, but that deals with Seychelle Cordero and Alexis Lete seemed to redirect the choice toward Cook. The outlet framed that explanation as an apparent shift, not a confirmed account of every player’s strategy.
What Cook said about her relationship with Dr. Will
Cook drew a distinction between Kirby’s behavior as a competitor and their relationship away from the show. Speaking to Us Weekly, she called “Dr. Will as Dr. Will” a “garbage person,” then clarified that she did not mean he was that way “outside in the real world.” She said they were friends in real life.
