Concept artist David Masson shared artwork for a Deadpool-and-Wolverine mash-up and called it a variant that “didn’t make the cut.” The available reporting identifies it as unused concept art, not a finished costume or an appearance in the film.
What did Wolverinepool look like?
Variety describes the concept as a Deadpool costume paired with an upgraded Wolverine mask and adamantium claws. GamesRadar likewise reports a red suit, belt, mask and claws. These are descriptions of the artwork; the sources do not establish that the design was made as a wearable costume.

Why was the design cut?
No reason for its exclusion is given in the reporting. Masson’s caption, reproduced by SuperHeroHype, says: “Starting off with Wolverinepool! Or Wolverpool, Deadverine? One of the variants that didn’t make the cut unfortunately.” The caption also credits costume designer Mayes Rubeo. The available accounts do not say how far the concept advanced in production.
Was Wolverinepool in the movie?
Masson’s wording identifies it as a variant that did not make the cut, so the concept should not be described as a character seen in Deadpool & Wolverine. The reporting does not establish that a scene featuring it was filmed or that a deleted scene exists.
