No. The post-credits scene in Deadpool & Wolverine is a comedic payoff about Johnny Storm, not a teaser for Avengers: Secret Wars. Deadpool returns to the TVA and shows footage confirming that Johnny really said the insults Wade had attributed to him.
What happens in the post-credits scene?
The film returns to the TVA, where Deadpool plays a recording of Johnny Storm. It confirms Johnny said the string of insults Wade had reported earlier—the remarks that helped lead to Johnny’s death. The scene vindicates Wade and completes the running joke; it does not point toward a future Avengers story.
Is the credits montage the same thing?
No. Deadpool & Wolverine has two distinct end-credit elements. During the credits, a montage set to Green Day’s “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)” draws on behind-the-scenes footage and moments from earlier Fox Marvel and X-Men films. It serves as a look back at those films and the people who made them. The later TVA scene is the actual post-credits tag.
Does the scene contain a Secret Wars clue?
The tag itself provides no specific clue about Avengers: Secret Wars. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has spoken broadly about the film’s relationship to Fox characters and X-Men, and about giving audiences hints of how Marvel intended to build on the mutant saga. That franchise context is separate from the Johnny Storm scene and does not confirm a connection to Secret Wars.

There is no established direct creator statement identifying the tag as a Secret Wars tease. The scene supports the narrower reading: it resolves a joke rather than setting up a particular future film. That does not establish whether Deadpool or Wolverine might appear in a later Avengers movie.
