Its featured products included Spelljammer: Adventures in Space, two connected Dragonlance releases, a new starter set, and D&D Campaign Cases. This roundup covers the 2022 event, not the later 2024 D&D Direct.
Role-playing books and boxed sets
Spelljammer: Adventures in Space
The largest boxed release highlighted in the announcements was Spelljammer: Adventures in Space, a return to a D&D setting that combines fantasy with space travel. The set was described as three hardcover volumes packaged in a slipcase, alongside a double-sided map and a Dungeon Master’s Screen. It is a multi-part boxed set rather than a single adventure book. Polygon’s event coverage reported these components.

Journeys through the Radiant Citadel
Journeys through the Radiant Citadel was announced as an anthology of adventures. Unlike a single continuous campaign, an anthology presents separate adventures that a group can use individually or incorporate into a longer game. The announcement coverage identifies the format but does not establish additional product specifications here. Polygon’s roundup included the anthology among the event’s product announcements.
Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen
Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen was announced as a D&D adventure or campaign book set in the Dragonlance world. It was paired in the event coverage with a separate board game, Warriors of Krynn; the two products are related, but they are not the same game or format. Polygon’s coverage describes the book and its connection to the board game.

Starter set and table accessories
Dragons of Stormwreck Isle Starter Set
The Dragons of Stormwreck Isle Starter Set was presented as a new entry point for D&D. Event coverage reported a price of $19.99 at announcement; that is a historical announcement price, not a statement of current retail pricing or availability. Polygon’s announcement coverage reported the price.
D&D Campaign Cases
The event also announced two physical play-accessory versions of D&D Campaign Cases: Terrain and Creatures. The Terrain case was described in connection with physical terrain and map play, while the Creatures case supplies creature tokens. These are table aids, not campaign books or standalone role-playing games. Polygon’s roundup reports both versions.

Board games and related releases
Warriors of Krynn
Warriors of Krynn was announced as a board game connected to the Shadow of the Dragon Queen campaign book. The coverage also says it can be played as a standalone experience. That makes it the board-game option among the Dragonlance announcements, while the book is the D&D role-playing campaign. Polygon’s coverage describes this relationship.
D&D Onslaught
D&D Onslaught was described as a WizKids-produced D&D skirmish game. The available event coverage establishes that it was announced, but does not establish its present status, current availability, or price. Polygon’s report identifies the game and its producer.

How to make sense of the announcements
| Product | Format and announced use |
|---|---|
| Spelljammer: Adventures in Space | Three-volume hardcover boxed set with slipcase, double-sided map, and Dungeon Master’s Screen. |
| Journeys through the Radiant Citadel | Adventure anthology. |
| Shadow of the Dragon Queen | Dragonlance D&D adventure or campaign book. |
| Warriors of Krynn | Dragonlance-related board game that can also stand alone. |
| Dragons of Stormwreck Isle Starter Set | D&D starter set; $19.99 was the price reported at announcement, not a current price. |
| D&D Campaign Cases | Terrain and Creatures physical accessories for tabletop play. |
| D&D Onslaught | WizKids-produced skirmish game; current status and availability are not established by the event coverage. |
In practical terms, the announcements span different ways to play: use the books and starter set for D&D role-playing, the Campaign Cases for physical table materials, or the board games for skirmish or board-game play. The clearest linked pair is Shadow of the Dragon Queen and Warriors of Krynn; the rest are distinct releases rather than one combined product line.

This roundup refers to the first D&D Direct, held April 21, 2022. A later D&D Direct took place in 2024, so announcements from that event should not be conflated with this list. The 2022 event coverage supports the products described above, but does not establish that this is an exhaustive inventory of every announcement. Current prices and availability are also not established here.
