What did the parties say about the agreement?
Entertainment Tonight attributed a statement to Dan Dienst, executive vice chairman of Authentic Brands Group, speaking for DB Ventures: “We are pleased to have settled this issue and to retain our investment in F45, and wish the team all the best for the future.” FOX reported that F45 CEO Tom Dowd called the resolution a “mutual business decision.” Neither reported statement disclosed financial terms.
Was the F45 lawsuit formally dismissed?
The parties announced a settlement, and contemporaneous reports said DB Ventures would drop the lawsuit. That is distinct from confirming that a court entered a dismissal order: the reports do not establish the formal dismissal date or provide a court order. They also do not disclose the complete settlement terms or independently verify the later status of DB Ventures’ investment.
