The Serpoians, Flatwoods Monster, and Dover Demon/Mantisian are the clearest alien combatants to compare—but the available evidence does not justify a definitive ranking of every extraterrestrial in Dandadan. On demonstrated individual fighting ability, the Flatwoods Monster and Dover Demon have distinct strengths; the Serpoians’ cloning gives them a numbers advantage, not proof that one Serpoian is physically stronger. This is an editorial, feat-based comparison, not an official order.
Spoiler scope: anime character profiles and manga material through the Volume 12 storyline, including the alien-invasion setup. Dandadan is ongoing, so later revelations may change any ranking.
How this strength ranking works
“Strongest” can mean more than hitting hardest. These comparisons separate individual physical power from speed, durability, technique, special abilities, and tactical advantages. A favorable matchup or a group’s numbers can change a fight without establishing that one character is stronger in every respect.
- Demonstrated combat traits: what an official character profile or the cited story material actually establishes.
- Individual strength versus group threat: cloning and coordination matter in a confrontation, but should not be mistaken for an individual member’s physical power.
- Evidence limits: a descriptive phrase such as “powerful punches” does not, by itself, prove superiority over another fighter.
Dandadan mixes extraterrestrials with yokai, ghosts, and other paranormal beings. This list is limited to aliens; it does not rank Turbo Granny or humans who use alien technology. The official anime character profiles identify the Serpoians, Flatwoods Monster, and Dover Demon/Mantisian as alien characters or beings, while treating yokai separately. 1. Flatwoods Monster: the strongest all-around case among the profiled aliens
The Flatwoods Monster has the most clearly described combination of mobility and close-range technique among these three profiles. The official DANDADAN character page calls it “Agile” and says it “unleashes sumo stomps and thrusts from a crouching position.” That gives it more to work with than a simple description of raw punching power: agility can help it close distance or evade, while stomps and thrusts provide distinct attacking methods. Official DANDADAN character profile.
This makes the Flatwoods Monster the most persuasive pick for the top spot in a cautious, profile-based ranking—not a proven winner against every other alien. The profile does not supply comparative measurements for its attack power, durability, or speed, and the cited public material does not establish a definitive head-to-head outcome against Dover Demon/Mantisian.
2. Dover Demon/Mantisian: the clearest specialist in striking power
The official profile characterizes Dover Demon/Mantisian through powerful punches. That is a direct combat advantage and makes it a serious close-quarters threat. But a single description of striking power cannot establish that it hits harder than the Flatwoods Monster’s stomps and thrusts, or that it is superior in agility, durability, or overall combat performance. Its placement just behind the Flatwoods Monster is therefore a judgment about the breadth of the documented combat traits, not a claim that a fight between them has a known result. Context matters: a punch-focused fighter may fare differently depending on range, footing, and the opponent’s ability to evade or disrupt an attack.

3. Serpoians: the greatest numbers advantage, not a proven strongest individual
The official profile describes the Serpoians as “Male-only aliens that clone themselves to increase their number.” Cloning is a substantial tactical advantage when multiple members can act together, but the profile does not say that an individual Serpoian is physically stronger than the Flatwoods Monster or Dover Demon/Mantisian. Official DANDADAN character profile.
For that reason, the Serpoians rank third here on individual fighting evidence, while potentially presenting the greatest collective threat of the three. A group’s ability to surround, distract, or overwhelm an opponent is a different measure from one member’s strength. The evidence cited here does not quantify how those advantages compare in a particular matchup.
Where Chiquitita and Vamola fit—and what cannot be ranked
Chiquitita
Chiquitita is the son of Dover Demon/Mantisian. The official character profile notes that he requires blood daily and now lives on Earth with his father. Those details identify his relationship and circumstances, but do not establish combat feats or a strength tier. Official DANDADAN character profile.
Vamola
Shueisha’s Volume 12 summary and chapter contents connect the alien-invasion storyline with Vamola. That confirms her relevance to the alien material, but the public listing alone does not provide enough comparative combat evidence to place her reliably above or below the three profiled combatants. Shueisha’s Volume 12 listing.
Why this is not literally every alien
The public official sources cited here identify a small set of aliens and provide selected character descriptions; they do not support a complete, ordered inventory of every extraterrestrial in the ongoing manga. Adding obscure names or assigning them positions without verified identities and comparable feats would create a false sense of certainty. This ranking is consequently limited to the aliens for whom the cited material gives useful, explicit combat evidence.

Is there an official Dandadan alien strength ranking?
No alien-only strength order is established by the public official listings cited here. Shueisha describes Dandadan Dai Zukan as containing character explanations, profiles, and ability parameters, but its public listing does not reveal those parameter values or confirm a ranking limited to aliens. The print edition is listed as 230 pages, ISBN 978-4-08-884647-7, released August 4, 2025. Shueisha’s Dandadan Dai Zukan listing.
The guidebook is relevant further reading for readers seeking official profiles and parameters, but those parameters should not automatically be treated as the same thing as demonstrated manga combat feats. No canonical numerical strength score or named official alien ranking is established by the cited public material.
