Ben Cousins and Siobhan Power
Cousins, performing for the third time in the competition, danced a Viennese Waltz with professional partner Siobhan Power to Bon Jovi’s 1992 hit “Bed of Roses.” The pair received 21 out of 40. Judge Craig Revel Horwood said, “There is a sort of Tom Cruise-y look about you, so I’m going to give you an extra point for that,” according to PerthNow’s report. Cousins said, “I’ve not just liked it, I’ve loved it.”
Samantha Jade and Gustavo Viglio
Jade and professional partner Gustavo Viglio performed a Cha Cha Cha in a 1960s-inspired segment and scored 39 out of 40. Jade said, “I’m glad it’s over, but it was so fun,” as reported by PerthNow.

The episode also ended the competition for former Olympian Nova Peris and chef Julie Goodwin. The reported scores distinguish the two featured performances, but they do not by themselves establish why either contestant advanced; the reports do not provide the full voting formula or viewer vote totals.
What happened in the 11 August semifinal
One week later, Cousins was eliminated, scoring 17 out of 40. Jade scored 39 out of 40 and advanced to the grand final. Shane Crawford and Adam Dovile were also eliminated. These outcomes were reported by PerthNow on 11 August 2024.

So the 4 August description of both contestants advancing to the semifinals was accurate for that episode; it did not mean both would reach the finale.
Jade’s grand-final result
In the 12 August 2024 grand final, Jade finished runner-up to Lisa McCune, with Ant Middleton placing third. PerthNow reported that McCune edged Jade 79–76 in the final showdown. The finale result is covered in PerthNow’s 12 August report.

The 2024 episode coverage pointed viewers to Seven and 7plus. That records the platforms named at the time; it does not establish where the season is available now or what access terms apply.
In a 13 August 2024 release, Seven Network reported that the season reached 6.9 million Australians across Channel 7 and 7plus, that the grand finale had 889,000 television and digital viewers, and that the series averaged a national total TV audience of 895,800. The network also reported a 35% increase in the 7plus audience compared with 2023.
