Dak Prescott and Sarah Jane Ramos introduced their first daughter, Margaret Jane Rose Prescott, in family photos shared in March 2024. The baby, whom Prescott called “Baby MJ,” was born on February 29, 2024, according to CBS Sports.
Who is Dak Prescott and Sarah Jane Ramos’s daughter?
The daughter featured in the March 2024 introduction is Margaret Jane Rose Prescott, nicknamed MJ. Sports Illustrated reported that Prescott shared the first family photos on March 4, then published the couple’s introductory photos and message on March 18, 2024. Sports Illustrated’s report identifies MJ as Prescott and Ramos’s first child.
CBS Sports reported that MJ was born on February 29, 2024. Ramos had announced her pregnancy publicly in November 2023, according to Sports Illustrated’s account. CBS Sports’ birth report was published March 5, 2024, before the family-photo introduction.
What did the couple say when they introduced her?
Sports Illustrated reproduced the caption accompanying the couple’s Instagram post: “Being your parents is the biggest blessing life has to offer and we are so fortunate that you are ours! Welcome into this world, baby girl, you will always be loved and protected! We are so IN LOVE with you.” It was a message shared with the family photos, not an interview quotation.

In remarks to CBS News relayed by CBS Sports, Prescott described how becoming a parent changed his sense of responsibility: “You know, you wake up in the morning and see that baby, and you understand the responsibilities.” He also said, “Everything that I’ve always wanted for myself, but to want that for someone else even more. Yeah, it’s special.”
Is Baby MJ Prescott’s only daughter?
No. Prescott and Ramos later welcomed a second daughter, Aurora Rayne Prescott. The Dallas Cowboys’ official site reported that Aurora was born May 22, 2025, and explained that her middle name honors Prescott’s full name, Rayne Dakota Prescott. The Cowboys’ announcement was published June 3, 2025.
