Daisy Foko and Philadelphia Eagles tight end Kylen Granson married at Chicago’s Field Museum in July 2025, with dinosaurs built into the celebration rather than relegated to museum scenery. Their ceremony kept a Spinosaurus cast in view, the after-party unfolded near Sue the T. rex, and author John Green officiated. Brides presented its June 28, 2025 feature as exclusive; that label belongs to the publication, and does not independently establish the licensing or exclusivity of every image.
A Field Museum wedding with a dinosaur in the frame
Foko told The Philadelphia Inquirer that the Spinosaurus cast was a specific priority for the ceremony. The original floor plan left it out of view, so she insisted that a wall be moved back to keep the dinosaur visible. “Yes, we specifically wanted the dinosaur,” she said.
The choice matched the couple’s wider approach to the wedding. Foko said she wanted to reshape familiar wedding elements around their tastes and personalities rather than simply add a dinosaur-themed sign. She described the goal as making the event’s details feel like a reflection of the couple.
From dinosaur invitations to an after-party by Sue
An invitation guests could uncover
The invitations turned the dinosaur theme into an activity: dinosaurs were concealed beneath ground graham crackers, which guests dusted away. Foko said that idea helped inspire the event’s interactive details.

A party beside the T. rex
The after-party took place upstairs near Sue, the Field Museum’s T. rex specimen. Foko told the Inquirer that the DJ booth was next to Sue. A saxophone player performed during cocktail hour, adding live music before the dancing.
John Green officiated
Author John Green officiated the ceremony. Foko said she and Granson became friends with Green through TikTok, then asked him to officiate while he was touring for a book. The Inquirer’s interview describes the couple as having been together for seven years; that is their relationship timeline as reported in the interview, not a separate independently established date.

The move to Philadelphia before the wedding
In March 2025, Granson joined the Eagles on a one-year deal after four seasons with the Indianapolis Colts. The Inquirer reported that Foko was documenting their move to Philadelphia. In April, the paper profiled Foko as a creator, inventor and podcaster, and identified her podcast as Daiz at Night.
Foko announced the wedding in a social post dated July 28, 2025, reproduced by Tikwm. The Inquirer published its interview with her on August 6. HMR Designs’ press archive lists a Brides feature dated June 28, 2025, but that listing is not confirmation of the ceremony date.
