CTV Movies and CTV Throwback are no longer accessed through the CTV app. Bell Media moved their on-demand content to Crave, and the CTV and Noovo websites and apps began winding down on May 1, 2026. Crave offers selected programming from both collections free with ads through a Bell Media account; check Crave’s current listings to see whether a particular title is available.
Where can I watch CTV Movies and CTV Throwback now?
Use Crave. Bell Media said in November 2025 that a free Bell Media account would provide ad-supported access to a selection of CTV, CTV 2, and Noovo programming, including CTV Movies and CTV Throwback. Its April 2026 migration notice said the CTV and Noovo websites and apps would be sunset starting May 1, 2026, and that their on-demand content was already available on Crave. The announcement does not guarantee that every title from either collection is free or remains available at all times, so search Crave for the title you want.
Is CTV Movies still on the CTV app?
No. CTV Movies and CTV Throwback launched in December 2018 as free, digital-only video-on-demand collections on CTV.ca and the CTV app. Bell Media later folded their on-demand content into Crave and announced the CTV app and website sunset. The CTV app is therefore not the current destination for these collections.
At launch, Bell Media described the collections as offering thousands of hours of movies and complete series, and cited titles including Spider-Man, Charlie’s Angels, Men in Black, Community, Dawson’s Creek, and The Facts of Life. Those were examples from 2018, not a current catalogue; availability can change.

Look for the title in Crave and check its access details.

How the collections came to Crave
Bell Media announced CTV Movies and CTV Throwback on December 4, 2018, with a launch date of December 6. Mike Cosentino, then Bell Media’s President, Content and Programming, called them “two new digital destinations” in the context of the CTV Super Hub. They began as CTV-branded collections; Crave is now the practical destination for their on-demand content.
In its November 2025 announcement, Bell Media described Crave’s overall expanded library as containing more than 40,000 hours of English- and French-language content. The company also said the expansion added more than 10,000 hours and grew its content portfolio by 30%. These are company-reported figures for the overall Crave library, not measurements of CTV Movies or CTV Throwback.
