The Soldiers table in Critical Role Campaign 4 consists of five characters: Thimble, Kattigan Vale, Teor Pridesire, Tyranny, and Wicander “Wick” Halovar. They are played by Laura Bailey, Robbie Daymond, Travis Willingham, Whitney Moore, and Sam Riegel, respectively. The assignments became clear during episode three, according to Nerdist.
Who is at the Soldiers table?
| Character | Player | What the official character page says |
|---|---|---|
| Thimble | Laura Bailey | A rogue pixie and Thjazi Fang’s friend and partner-in-crime. |
| Kattigan Vale | Robbie Daymond | A human tracker who served with Thjazi in the Falconer’s Rebellion. |
| Teor Pridesire | Travis Willingham | A nama exemplar and mercenary who fought in the rebellion and is devoted to protecting others. |
| Tyranny | Whitney Moore | A demon who became an Aspirant to Wicander Halovar. |
| Wicander “Wick” Halovar | Sam Riegel | Listed among Campaign 4’s characters; Nerdist identifies him as part of this table. |
Critical Role’s Campaign 4 hub provides the character descriptions. Nerdist’s October 31, 2025 report on the three tables identifies the full Soldiers lineup and places the reveal in episode three.
What “Soldiers” means in Campaign 4
“Soldiers” is the name of a story table, not a job description shared by every character. Nerdist describes its focus as combat- and conflict-driven. Campaign 4 Game Master Brennan Lee Mulligan characterized that mode as “for the people who are interested in a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven story mode—where the non-violent answers were few and far between,” in a Nerdist report on the group.
The group’s personal ties also connect it to the campaign’s larger story. The campaign begins in Aramán, where the execution of war hero Thjazi Fang brings people from his life together to uncover the truth about his fate. Thimble and Kattigan have direct connections to Thjazi, while Teor fought alongside him in the Falconer’s Rebellion.

How the Soldiers fit into Campaign 4
Critical Role introduced Campaign 4 as a West Marches-style game using the 2024 Dungeons & Dragons rules. After a four-episode overture, its cast separates into three rotating tables: Soldiers, Seekers, and Schemers. The official Campaign Four announcement and campaign hub establish the format and setting.
The first episode officially focused on the Soldiers was episode five, “Branching Paths.” Its official episode page says the Soldiers embark on a hunt. Nerdist also reported on developments after the group left Dol-Makjar, including fallout involving House Halovar and a pursuit connected to Casimir and Teor’s brother; that is a snapshot of the story at the time of its October 2025 article, not a synopsis of the whole ongoing arc.

Campaign 4 moves Critical Role beyond Exandria into Aramán. The campaign hub lists a recap for episode 37, “Death to Tyrants,” dated October 7, 2026, indicating that the campaign was still ongoing at that point. That later status is separate from the original lineup reveal, reported in October 2025.
