The action is its strongest draw; the story’s familiar turns and uneven coherence are less convincing. If spectacle matters more to you than a layered plot, the film may deliver. If you need both, its muscle does not fully make up for its narrative gaps.
What is Crakk: Jeetegaa Toh Jiyegaa about?
Siddharth “Siddhu” Dixit, played by Vidyut Jammwal, travels from Mumbai to an extreme-sports arena in Krakow, Poland. He enters a dangerous competition hoping to win and honor his late brother Nihaal. Along the way, he faces risky events, a ruthless rival and a secret that threatens to turn the contest deadly.
The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) describes it as an extreme-sports enthusiast entering an underground contest against competitors from around the world. That premise gives the film a clear action framework, though it does not necessarily give the characters or plot the same clarity.
Does the action make up for the story?
It depends on what you want from the film. The moving-train opening, parkour and competition events put physical spectacle at the center. The Times of India’s Dhaval Roy praised the action choreography and cinematography, while finding the story and screenplay short on depth. In his review, published 23 February 2024, Roy rated the film 2.5/5 and pointed to a familiar underdog plot, predictable clashes and a subplot that feels like a detour.

Hindustan Times critic Monika Rawal Kukreja, also writing on 23 February 2024, found the narrative unconvincing and confusing. Her criticism is that adding extreme sports to familiar story tropes does not give the plot greater depth. Taken together, the reviews suggest a divide between the film’s physical inventiveness and its storytelling: its set pieces are easier to appreciate than the logic and development linking them.
That is a critical assessment, not a guarantee of every viewer’s response. Rotten Tomatoes displayed a 14% Tomatometer based on seven reviews when consulted in 2026. That is a small, time-sensitive critic-review snapshot, not an audience survey or a measure of how every viewer will respond. Rotten Tomatoes’ title page may show a different score or review count later.

Who is likely to enjoy it?
- Consider it if: you are mainly looking for action choreography, athletic stunts and an extreme-sports setting, and can accept a comparatively thin or confusing story.
- Temper expectations if: you want a tightly constructed thriller, layered characters or a plot whose turns feel consistently persuasive. The cited reviewers found those elements weaker than the action.
For a quick comparison with another action film, focus on three things: how inventive the choreography is, whether the characters’ motives and the plot hold together, and how comfortable you are with strong violence and risky behavior on screen. Crakk leans hardest on the first.
Violence, risky stunts and classification
The BBFC warns of strong violence, bloody images and dangerous behavior. Its content advice highlights a prolonged scene in which a parkourist performs risky stunts on a moving train, including train surfing and swinging from the door to touch passing objects. These actions are presented as dangerous onscreen behavior, not as stunts viewers should imitate. The BBFC’s classification and content advice can help viewers decide whether that material is appropriate for them or their family.

Release, cast and running time
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) lists the Hindi theatrical release CRAKK JEETEGAA TOH JIYEGAA as certified on 22 February 2024, with Vidyut Lallsingh Jamwal and Kalari Action Hero Films Pvt. Ltd. named in the entry. Rotten Tomatoes identifies Aditya Datt as director and screenwriter and lists Jammwal, Arjun Rampal, Nora Fatehi and Amy Jackson among the principal cast. Its title page gives a limited theatrical release date of 23 February 2024 and Hindi as the original language.
Running time varies by record and version: the CBFC list reports 156.48 minutes, while the BBFC describes its classified cinema version as approximately 154 minutes and displays 154m 20s.
