Did the creators want to continue the story?
Showrunner Peter Harness said there was room to continue the characters’ stories. Speaking at the Television Critics Association winter press tour, he told TVLine: “Obviously we’re very happy to get to the end of the first season, but there’s a long way to go with these characters.” He also said he believed there was a bigger story to tell about space and its history.
