Which Jacob & Co. watches did McGregor buy?
The pair, as identified by Time+Tide, were the Astronomia Tourbillon Baguette in Rose Gold and the Rasputin Diamond Erotic Minute Repeater. Time+Tide said McGregor shared footage of his boutique visit on 14 January 2021. Its report quoted Jacob & Co. Chief Content Officer Keith W. Strandberg confirming the Astronomia purchase: “We recently welcomed Conor McGregor to our boutique, where he purchased his latest Jacob & Co. timepiece, the Astronomia Tourbillon Baguette in Rose Gold,” Time+Tide reported.
That quotation confirms the Astronomia specifically. The Rasputin purchase and the amounts for both watches are reported by Time+Tide, rather than separately confirmed in the quoted company statement.
What did the two watches cost, according to the report?
Time+Tide put the reported total at nearly £2.2 million, breaking it down as £730,000 for the Astronomia and £1.5 million for the Rasputin. These are figures attached to the 2021 account of the purchase; they should not be read as current asking prices or verified public list prices. A July 2026 WatchPolice account likewise characterizes the individual amounts as press-reported figures rather than list prices.

What makes the Astronomia distinctive?

The reported 50 mm diameter and 25 mm thickness make it a substantial watch, while baguette-cut diamonds decorate its base and lugs. Its display combines a visible mechanical complication with celestial imagery rather than presenting time through a conventional dial alone.
What is unusual about the Rasputin?
The Rasputin combines a minute repeater—which chimes the time when activated—with an animated scene behind the dial. In Time+Tide’s description, operating the repeater slide reveals that scene. The report also describes a diamond-covered case and dial totaling nearly 30 carats and a five-watch series. Those details make it a different proposition from the Astronomia: its defining feature is the combination of chiming and animation, not a rotating astronomical display.
