Pav’s danger draws Connor back into a conflict he has tried to leave behind, while his strained history with Garrett complicates the help he seeks.
Who’s in the cast of Code 8: Part II?
The film’s central conflict is shaped by four roles: a reluctant protector, the former associate he distrusts, the teenager at the heart of the pursuit, and the officer leading it. Netflix describes the story as taking place in Lincoln City, where people with abilities are heavily policed.

Why are Connor and Garrett at odds?
Connor and Garrett were criminal partners, but Connor has ended their association and despises Garrett. After prison, Connor is working as a community-center janitor and trying to avoid trouble. Helping Pav disrupts that effort, and he eventually turns to Garrett for help despite the distrust between them.
Their relationship gives the story a trust-versus-betrayal tension. Netflix Tudum describes the pair as fugitives whose earlier actions turned Lincoln City upside down; that framing establishes their shared history, not a complete account of either man’s personal arc.

Who is Pav, and why does she matter?
Pavani, usually called Pav, is a 14-year-old runaway played by Sirena Gulamgaus. Her escape from Sergeant King’s corrupt unit is what pulls Connor into the conflict. Director Jeff Chan called Pav “the moral center of this story.” He also said he wanted to contrast the characters in Lincoln City’s “dark and complex world” with someone whose hopefulness “simultaneously defines and challenges them.”
Who is Sergeant King Kingston?
Alex Mallari Jr. plays Sergeant “King” Kingston, the officer leading the corrupt unit pursuing Pav. Netflix’s synopsis says the officers use newly launched robotic K9s to track her. King is the authority figure driving the pursuit; the available character information does not establish a fuller biography or a complete account of his motives.

What is the setting of Code 8: Part II?
The sequel returns to fictional Lincoln City, where people with abilities face heavy policing and oppression.
