Clark and Tavia Hunt have three children: daughters Gracie and Ava, and son Knobel. The Kansas City Chiefs’ 2024 media guide lists all three, while a January 2024 Kansas City Star profile identifies Gracie as the oldest, Knobel as the middle child, and Ava as the youngest. Although the headline uses “Grace,” the cited sources spell the eldest daughter’s name Gracie.
Who are Clark Hunt’s children?
Clark Hunt, chairman and CEO of the Kansas City Chiefs, and his wife, Tavia, have three children. The Chiefs’ 2024 media guide names them as Gracie, Knobel and Ava.
| Child | Birth order | Publicly reported detail |
|---|---|---|
| Gracie | Oldest | The January 2024 Kansas City Star profile identifies her as the oldest of the three. Source |
| Knobel | Middle | His name was his paternal grandmother Norma Hunt’s maiden name. The Kansas City Star reported in May 2024 that he attended Southern Methodist University at that time. Source |
| Ava | Youngest | The January 2024 Kansas City Star profile identifies her as the youngest. Source |
What is publicly known about Gracie and Ava?
The available reporting establishes their names and birth order: Gracie is the eldest and Ava the youngest. It does not establish their ages or provide a detailed biography for either daughter, so those details should not be assumed from this limited public coverage.
What is known about Knobel?
The Kansas City Star reported in January 2024 that Knobel was named for his paternal grandmother, Norma Hunt, whose maiden name was Knobel. A separate Kansas City Star report from May 2024 said he attended Southern Methodist University then. That is a dated reference, not confirmation of his present enrollment or status.

How the family connects to the Chiefs
Clark Hunt is part of the family that owns the Kansas City Chiefs. In a 2013 Chiefs feature, Clark spoke about his own father, Lamar Hunt, saying, “My dad was a great father.” He recalled Lamar making a point of attending his children’s sporting events; the quote refers to Clark’s experience as a son, not to Clark’s parenting of Gracie, Knobel and Ava.
The Chiefs’ 2024 media guide says the club delivered $3.7 million in charitable support during 2023. That figure describes the team’s charitable work, not contributions by Clark’s children or the family individually.
