These are the credits named in MCA’s August 29, 2024 announcement.
What happens in the video?
The official announcement and catalogue listing identify the video and its creative credits but do not describe its scenes or explain the dance and “heaven” imagery. They do not establish what “Dancing in Heaven” means; it is framing in the title, not a confirmed official subtitle or interpretation. Without a verified account of the video’s narrative, it would be misleading to present a plot or explain its ending as fact.

How does the song fit into Higher?
Stapleton’s official site announced “Think I’m In Love With You” on September 8, 2023, identified him as its writer, and described it as the second song unveiled from the forthcoming album. MCA’s track listing places it at track 6. Apple Music lists Higher as a Mercury Nashville release dated November 10, 2023, with 14 songs and a 54-minute runtime.
In Apple Music’s editorial about the album, Stapleton described his broader approach to music: “I can live a lot of places, in a lot of different kinds of music and have fun with that, but I still feel like I’m me in those things. I’m not trying to impersonate somebody else.” This is a general comment about his musical identity, not a statement specifically about this song or video.

How the video differs from the ACM Awards performance
MCA separately mentions Stapleton’s live collaboration with Dua Lipa at the 59th ACM Awards. That is a live performance, distinct from the official music video announced in August 2024; the label’s announcement does not say that the collaboration appears in the video.
