That ruling decided whether he could be released and tour while the case proceeded; it did not determine whether the original allegations were true.
What the court decided
The court set bail at £5 million, the amount in the court’s currency. The Associated Press reported the figure as approximately $6.7 million, a contemporaneous conversion rather than a dollar-denominated court order. The judge also permitted Brown to continue his scheduled tour, provided he complied with bail conditions and the required security. The tour was due to begin in Amsterdam on June 8, 2025, according to the Associated Press’s May 21 report.

Brown had been arrested in Manchester in May 2025 and initially held in custody. The case at that point involved an allegation arising from a February 2023 incident at Tape nightclub in London. The Associated Press reported that the original charge was causing grievous bodily harm with intent. The bail hearing was not a trial or a finding that the alleged conduct had been proven.
What happened after his release
On May 22, 2025, The Independent reported that Brown posted an Instagram story saying, “From the cage to the stage. Breezybowl.” The post followed his release and the court’s decision allowing him to tour under the bail conditions described in coverage at the time.

In a later report, the Associated Press said Brown pleaded guilty to affray. The report also said prosecutors dropped charges of assault, attempting to cause grievous bodily harm, and possessing an offensive weapon. It reported that sentencing was scheduled for October 26. That later plea is distinct from the original charge reported when Brown was arrested; the bail ruling itself did not establish the allegations.

The available Associated Press account establishes the reported plea, dropped charges, and scheduled sentencing date, but not the sentence ultimately imposed. The October 26 date should therefore be understood as the scheduled date reported by AP, not as confirmation of the eventual court outcome.
