Opening date and the “first” claim
PerthNow reported on 8 August 2024 that China Bar had opened its third Western Australian venue on James Street, with the Northbridge restaurant opening in June 2024. The report called it Perth’s first 24-hour Chinese restaurant. That wording should be understood as PerthNow’s characterization: the available information does not independently establish that no other Chinese restaurant in Perth had offered 24-hour service before it.

Published hours
China Bar’s official listing currently describes the Northbridge branch as open 24 hours. This is the business’s published information, not a guarantee of uninterrupted service; check with the restaurant before travelling, particularly on public holidays or for a late-night visit.
