Chicken Treat’s Hot Hawaiian range was a summer 2024 menu launch built around pineapple in both savoury and sweet items. PerthNow reported on 27 November 2024 that the range had “just launched”; that report does not establish an exact first day of sale or whether the items are still available.
What was in the Hot Hawaiian range?
The signature item was the Hot Hawaiian Burger, combining fresh pineapple with a Tempta breast fillet, lettuce, bacon, cheese and Hot Hawaiian sauce. Its mix of fruit, chicken and bacon put pineapple at the centre of a savoury burger rather than treating it only as a pizza topping.
The launch report also named two other savoury options:
- Loaded Pineapple Fritters: pineapple fritters topped with bacon crumb and Hot Hawaiian sauce.
- Boneless chicken: boneless chicken topped with Hawaiian sauce.
The sweet option was a Dessert Burger made with Donut Chips, a Pineapple Fritter and bacon, finished with salted caramel sauce. These menu descriptions and launch details were reported by PerthNow on 27 November 2024.

What did the items cost at launch?
PerthNow reported launch-era starting prices of A$11.29 for the Hot Hawaiian Burger and A$16.29 as a meal. The Dessert Burger was reported from A$10.69. These are prices reported with the 2024 launch, not confirmed current prices.
How popular were Chicken Treat’s pineapple fritters?
PerthNow reported that Chicken Treat said it sold more than 250,000 individual Pineapple Fritter servings during 2024. That is a company-attributed figure in the article, not an independently audited count.

Current availability and pricing have not been verified. A delivery listing for one Chicken Treat location does not establish that these promotional items remain on sale. Check with a nearby restaurant or its current ordering menu before making a trip or placing an order.
