The reports do not establish that he leads WWE’s broader AAA expansion or hold a formal executive title for him.
What did Chavo Guerrero say about re-signing with WWE?
In an interview with Bill Apter, Guerrero said, “I just re-signed with WWE.” POST Wrestling reported that the interview took place in September 2025; POST Wrestling and Wrestling Online published their reports on November 12, 2025. This is Guerrero’s statement as reported by those outlets, not a separate WWE announcement. POST Wrestling; Wrestling Online.
What is his role with AAA?
Guerrero described his work as helping put together WWE’s AAA show: “I’m putting together, helping out with their AAA show.” The wording supports an assisting role with the show’s programming. It does not establish that he is leading AAA’s wider expansion.
Why does Guerrero see potential in WWE’s involvement?
Guerrero connected AAA’s importance to his family’s roots in lucha libre and said he wanted to preserve what makes the tradition distinctive. He also praised the prospect of pairing that tradition with WWE’s marketing and style, saying he saw “such big things coming from this show.”
