Charlize Theron reportedly took her two daughters to see Dua Lipa in Sydney, turning a concert into a mother-daughter date. Yahoo Entertainment described the outing as part of Lipa’s Radical Optimism tour and reported that the three wore matching white T-shirts.
What happened at the Sydney concert?
In a March 31, 2025 report, Yahoo Entertainment said Theron attended the Sydney show with Jackson and August, whom the report identified as 11 and 7 years old at the time. It did not name the venue or give the concert date.

Yahoo said Theron posted about the night on Instagram with the caption, “Oh what a night! @dualipa ❤️.” The report also quoted Lipa replying, “You’re the coolest ❤️❤️❤️❤️.” The wording and details here are attributed to Yahoo; the original social-media post was not independently verified.
A concert date, not the only kind of mother-daughter outing
In a separate interview with W Magazine, Theron described spa visits with her younger daughter as a mother-daughter date night and mentioned a multi-hour birthday outing. That interview offers broader context about time they spend together, but it does not establish anything about the Sydney concert.
