Did Charli XCX get married?
Yes. The Associated Press reported on 21 July 2025 that a representative for George Daniel confirmed the pair had married over the weekend. AP also reported that they were seen posing outside Hackney Town Hall on Saturday. British Vogue’s report, published the day before, placed the London wedding in east London.
Charli XCX and Daniel, the drummer for The 1975, later held a second ceremony in the Sicilian village of Scopello. Vogue reported on that event in September 2025.

British Vogue identified her London dress as Vivienne Westwood’s Nova Cora mini dress. The off-the-shoulder design belongs to the label’s corseted bridal style. Charli paired it with a simple veil and white Jimmy Choo Amita heels.

She kept her signature shield sunglasses, adding a personal detail to the otherwise classic bridal look. These details describe the London ceremony, not the later event in Sicily.
How was the Sicily wedding dress different?
Charli wore a separate gown for the second ceremony in Scopello, Sicily. Vogue reported that designer Danielle Frankel described it as a bias-cut ivory silk chiffon slip dress with spaghetti straps and an elongated train.

The construction combined a structured internal bustier beneath sheer chiffon, bias-cut chiffon ribbons, hand-embroidered organza micro petals and baroque pearls. Charli completed the Sicily look with the brand’s white silk Kennedy pumps.

Which dress was worn at Hackney Town Hall?
The Vivienne Westwood Nova Cora mini was Charli’s London wedding look. The Danielle Frankel gown was worn for the distinct later ceremony in Sicily; it should not be confused with the Hackney Town Hall appearance.
