Celebrity workouts range from yoga and Pilates to strength training, dance cardio, intervals and tennis. There is no single routine to copy: the examples reported by trainers and publications are shaped by a person’s goals, schedule and coaching. The most useful lesson is to choose an approach you can sustain, not to chase a famous person’s program or physique.
Why celebrity workouts vary so much
A routine for a tour, film role or personal preference is designed around a particular goal and schedule. That context matters: a demanding preparation block is not automatically appropriate for someone beginning exercise, and a reported celebrity routine is not proof that copying it will produce the same result.
Jennifer Lopez’s trainer David Kirsch cautioned against generic programming: “It’s all too easy to put a series of exercises together in a cookie-cutter way.” Vogue’s interview with Kirsch is a useful reminder that the person, not the celebrity label, should guide the plan.
Reported celebrity workout examples
| Example | What the reporting describes | What to take from it |
|---|---|---|
| Taylor Swift’s Eras-tour preparation | Trainer Kirk Myers described battle ropes, a SkiErg, sledgehammer work, assisted pull-ups, crunches and weighted side twists. He said of the program, “It’s tailored.” Vogue, April 19, 2024. | A demanding, professionally tailored tour-conditioning example—not a beginner plan or a template for everyone. |
| Victoria Beckham’s strength work | Trainer Bobby Rich described dumbbell, barbell and bodyweight exercises, including functional compound movements. He emphasized choosing activity a person can sustain. British Vogue. | Strength training can use different forms of resistance; consistency and personal fit matter more than the celebrity association. |
| Dua Lipa, Hailey Bieber, Lori Harvey, Dakota Johnson, Kim Kardashian and Kate Middleton | A British Vogue survey published January 2, 2026, associates these figures respectively with yoga; Forma Pilates; Forma Pilates; dance cardio, low-impact sculpt, light weights and bodyweight work; strength exercises; and tennis. British Vogue, January 2, 2026. | These are varied reported examples, not endorsements or evidence that one modality is best. |
| Alicia Keys’ training | Trainer Anna Kaiser described intervals alternating athletic conditioning and strength, including Pilates-box and full-body movements. The report names Anna Kaiser Virtual Studios; current access and pricing are not established here. Us Weekly. | Intervals can combine conditioning with strength, but the described routine is an example rather than an individualized prescription. |
| Matt Damon’s role preparation | Trainer Gabe Stump described an ideal week with an upper/lower split and cardio or a metabolic day, and full-body sessions when five workouts would not fit. This account concerns role preparation. Tom’s Guide, updated August 3, 2026. | The account illustrates adapting a plan to time constraints; it does not establish a universal weekly schedule. |
How to choose an approach you can actually use
Use the reported routines as a menu of possibilities, then filter them through your own circumstances. Bobby Rich’s advice in British Vogue is direct: “You need to consider what you can maintain.”

#1 Best Overall
- adjustable dumbbell set
- 【1 Second Weights Adjustment】One hand, one second. Quickly switch between five weights from 4 to 25 lbs. Get more sets per workout and more muscle fatigue per hour. That's easily 5x the efficiency of old-school plate swapping
- 【90% Cost & Space Saving】Replace 5 bulky dumbbell sets with just one adjustable dumbbell set. Less clutter, more workout space. Perfect for your home gym
- 【No More Slippery Surprises】Still sweaty-palm, dumbbell-slipping moment mid-rep? No way. 33mm of soft rubber. A textured grip that actually grabs back. Rep after rep, you're locked in
- 【Expert-Certified Dual-Lock System】 We take safety seriously, so we brought in experts to engineer a dual-lock system just for our adjustable dumbbells. Weight adjustments are made only when the dumbbell is on the base. Rotate to your desired weight, then lift. The handle locks your plates automatically the moment you pick it up. Overhead presses or any lift above your head? Both locks hold
- Start with your goal. General strength, conditioning, mobility, enjoyment and sport-specific practice can call for different activities.
- Match the time commitment to your week. A role- or tour-preparation block may not fit an ordinary schedule. A routine that can be repeated consistently is more practical than an ambitious plan you cannot keep.
- Account for equipment and instruction. Strength work may use dumbbells, barbells or bodyweight. If you want guided classes, reporting has named The Sculpt Society, Tracy Anderson Method online studio and Anna Kaiser Virtual Studios; verify present-day availability and pricing directly before relying on them. British Vogue and Us Weekly mention these services.
- Choose movements and modifications suited to you. A celebrity’s exercise list is not a substitute for instruction or an assessment of your starting point.
Can you work out without celebrity-level equipment?
Yes. Calisthenics uses little or no equipment, making bodyweight movements a practical starting point at home or elsewhere. In Associated Press reporting, Rice University’s Lifetime Physical Activity Program director Anatolia Vick-Kregel said: “This is what you can do at home or in your office.” The report also notes that external resistance can help people continue progressing strength and muscle gains; bodyweight work and weights are options, not opposing camps. Associated Press coverage of calisthenics recommends attention to form and modifications.

Published accounts can show the range of training styles and how coaches adapt workouts to a goal or schedule. They generally do not provide independently verified training logs or clinical evaluations, and they do not prove that another person will get the same outcome by copying a routine. Compare examples by exercise type, equipment needs, session demands, access to coaching and fit with your own goals—not by celebrity status or appearance.
