El techo de Jet Set colapsó durante la madrugada del martes 8 de abril de 2025, mientras el merenguero Rubby Pérez se presentaba en el club. La lista oficial de víctimas identificadas incluyó a Carolina Desiree Pérez Flores por su nombre completo. Procuraduría General de la República
RTVD también difundió una lista parcial de víctimas y explicó que el proceso de identificación involucró a médicos, patólogos forenses y la Policía Científica, con comparación de datos biométricos con la base de la Junta Central Electoral. Primera Hora la describió como comunicadora y madre de dos hijas, Ana y Nicole. Según ese medio, en octubre de 2024 sobrevivió a un accidente de tránsito en el que murió su esposo y pasó semanas hospitalizada. La nota contó que después retomó su vida y se esforzó por salir adelante con sus hijas. Primera Hora informó que, casi seis meses después del accidente, Pérez Flores asistió al club con amistades para ver cantar a Rubby Pérez, su artista favorito. La nota dijo que cumplía 33 años y que ver al cantante en vivo fue el regalo que pidió; también la describió como su primera salida social desde el accidente. La edad y el motivo de la visita deben entenderse como datos reportados por ese medio en su artículo del 10 de abril de 2025, no como información del registro forense. Primera Hora
