Her conjoined twin, Lupita, was not a spouse: the sisters say Carmen is the one who married, while Lupita is not seeking a partner. In interviews, they have described how they approach the marriage with respect for Lupita’s comfort and boundaries—and have pushed back on intrusive speculation about their private lives.
When and where did Carmen Andrade get married?
Carmen and Daniel McCormack married in October 2024 in New Milford, Connecticut. A Stamford Advocate profile identifies Lovers Leap Bridge as the wedding location. The sisters met Daniel through a dating app, according to the local profile and People en Español’s account of the People interview.
People en Español published its Spanish-language summary of that interview on September 18, 2025. The Stamford Advocate revisited the couple and the sisters’ everyday life in a profile updated March 30, 2026. Access Hollywood also described the People feature as an exclusive interview about the marriage and the twins’ health.
Who is married, and how do Carmen and Lupita describe their relationship?
Carmen is married to Daniel; Lupita is not. The sisters have said they respect Lupita’s comfort and boundaries as they navigate Carmen’s marriage. That is their account of their own relationship, not a rule that can be applied to other conjoined twins.

What have Carmen and Daniel said about public curiosity?
Carmen has objected to the idea that the public needs intimate details to see the sisters as people. People en Español quotes her: “No entiendo porqué la gente tiene que saber sobre mis partes privadas para poder humanizarnos.” In English: “I don’t understand why people have to know about my private parts in order to humanize us.”
Daniel also rejected intrusive speculation. People en Español quotes him: “la gente está obsesionada con el sexo. Honestamente, no es asunto tuyo” (“people are obsessed with sex. Honestly, it’s none of your business”). Their remarks set a clear limit: the marriage can be discussed without treating the sisters’ private lives as public property.
