Más tarde, el 25 de mayo de 2024, realizaron una celebración con ceremonia espiritual en San Miguel de Allende, México. Su compromiso se había anunciado en junio de 2023, tras una propuesta en París.
La propuesta de matrimonio fue en París
En junio de 2023, Adyan contó que Quintanilla le propuso matrimonio durante una cena en un crucero por el río Sena, con la Torre Eiffel a la vista. Telemundo publicó el anuncio el 29 de junio de 2023 y compartió comentarios de Adyan sobre la propuesta (Telemundo).
En una entrevista publicada ese mismo día, Adyan habló de lo que significaba para él compartir públicamente su relación: “No me gusta vivir con máscaras. Por eso yo hago esta portada… A Carlos [Adyan] lo quieren por el profesional, no porque es Carlos el homosexual o el novio de Carlos”. La cita, incluidos los corchetes, fue publicada por People en Español.
La boda civil en Miami
El 21 de octubre de 2023, la pareja se casó por lo civil en Miami. People en Español informó que la ceremonia privada se celebró esa tarde en la casa de María Celeste Arrarás, presentadora y amiga de Adyan. Esta fue la boda civil que siguió al compromiso de París.

La celebración espiritual en San Miguel de Allende
Meses después, Adyan y Quintanilla celebraron una ceremonia espiritual en San Miguel de Allende, México. El Universo situó el evento el sábado 25 de mayo de 2024 y reportó que asistieron más de 400 invitados; esa cantidad corresponde al recuento publicado por el medio, no a un conteo oficial independiente. Telemundo había cubierto los preparativos del baile en mayo de 2024.
La celebración mexicana fue posterior a la boda civil de Miami. Por eso, las fechas de 2023 y 2024 corresponden a momentos distintos de la historia, no a versiones contradictorias sobre una sola ceremonia.
