What Cardi B’s hospital picture announced
The couple shared a hospital photo on Instagram on September 6, 2021. Cardi captioned it “9/4/21,” indicating the date of the birth. Contemporary reports reproduced the couple’s joint statement identifying the newborn as their son.
“We are so overjoyed to finally meet our son. He is already loved so much by family and friends and we can’t wait to introduce him to his other siblings,” the statement said. It was attributed jointly to Cardi B and Offset, without specifying an individual speaker. BET reproduced the statement.
Who was in the family announcement?
The baby was Cardi B and Offset’s second child together, following their daughter Kulture. The wording “second child together” matters: Offset also has children from other relationships, so this was not his second child overall. People reported the arrival.
