The next Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) is scheduled for August 20 to September 6, 2027, according to the event’s official FAQ. As of October 8, 2026, 2027 tickets were not yet available. The CNE takes place at Exhibition Place in Toronto; plan ahead for a large fairground, check current transit information, and confirm event details as they are announced.
What and where is the CNE?
The Canadian National Exhibition is an annual fair held at Exhibition Place in downtown Toronto. The CNE describes the grounds as 192 acres, with indoor and outdoor areas and gradual elevation changes. Expect to cover ground between attractions; comfortable walking shoes are a practical choice.
The CNE’s accessibility page calls it “Canada’s largest community event” and says it attracts more than 1.4 million visitors every summer. The page does not identify the year measured, so this is an undated figure published by the CNE, not a confirmed attendance count for a particular year.
When is the next CNE?
The official FAQ lists the next exhibition as August 20 to September 6, 2027. The 2026 event is closed, and the FAQ says 2027 ticket offerings are forthcoming. Check the official CNE FAQ and ticket page for updates before making plans.

When is the best time to visit?
The CNE says weekday mornings are typically quieter, with crowds building later in the day. Check GO Transit service alerts and TTC service alerts before travelling because routes and schedules can change.
Bicycle parking is described near both the east and west ends of the grounds. Driving is also an option, but the CNE describes vehicle parking as limited. Its FAQ listed on-site and off-site parking at $40 to $50 during the 2026 event; that is a historical rate, not a confirmed 2027 price. Accessible parking spaces were described as first come, first served. Verify current lots, rates and access details before driving.
