Caleb Serong and Chloe Furnari announced their engagement in June 2024. They have since married: Fremantle Football Club reported in February 2026 that the couple officially wed in December 2025.
When did Caleb Serong and Chloe Furnari get engaged?
The couple announced their engagement on Instagram in June 2024, according to PerthNow’s contemporaneous report.
How did Serong describe the proposal?
In an interview with 92.9 Triple M, as quoted by PerthNow, Serong said friends took Furnari out for breakfast while he prepared a surprise at home. He arranged for a chef to make lunch and set out balloons, flowers and candles. Both families had flown in the day before without Furnari knowing, and were waiting as part of the surprise when she returned.
Serong also said he had hidden the ring in his underwear drawer. These details are his reported account of the proposal, not independently verified descriptions of the private event.

Where and when did they marry?
The couple married in December 2025 on Furnari’s family farm in Geelong, according to PerthNow’s wedding coverage. Furnari explained that the farm was a place the couple had visited during school breaks and had become a gathering place for her family, representing “connection, love and togetherness.”
The West Australian reported the date printed with a wedding photo as “Mr and Mrs Serong — 21.12.2025.” Fremantle’s February 2026 club coverage likewise confirmed that they officially married in December and referred to Chloe as Serong’s wife.
