ONSTAGE described Prado as an artist from Rio de Janeiro and reported that “Baobá” had been released the previous December. Those details were published in 2021, not as a current artist biography. The available reporting does not explain how these descriptions relate to one another beyond their stated groupings. In the September 23, 2021 Spotify Newsroom interview, Schnur, EA Games’ Worldwide Executive & President of Music, said: “Originally, FIFA soundtracks reflected world culture. Then they began to influence culture. Thanks in large part to Spotify, FIFA soundtracks have now become culture.” This is his view of the soundtracks’ cultural role, not an independent measure of their influence.
