Bryan Adams’s sold-out RAC Arena concert in Perth, scheduled for 9 February 2025, was cancelled shortly before it was due to proceed because an external sewer issue created a safety risk. Promoter Frontier Touring said tickets would be refunded automatically in full to the original payment method. The next day, PerthNow reported that Adams was seen at Perth Airport leaving for Sydney.
Why was Bryan Adams’s Perth concert cancelled?
The show was scheduled for Sunday 9 February 2025 at RAC Arena. Frontier Touring said an external Perth Water Corporation issue had not been fixed in time and affected Wellington Street, making it unsafe for patrons to enter the arena. The promoter said the sold-out concert could not be rescheduled. Frontier Touring’s event notice

ABC News reported that a sewer blockage risked wastewater backing up at the venue and creating a public health risk. ABC also quoted Water Corporation spokesperson Darren Donovan apologising to people who had hoped to attend and saying the difficult decision was taken for their safety. The blockage and technical risk are ABC’s reported account; Frontier Touring’s notice cited the external utility issue and safety decision. ABC News report
How were ticket holders to receive refunds?
Frontier Touring announced that tickets would be automatically refunded in full to the original payment method, including the refundable ticket purchase where applicable. Ticket holders did not need to take action. The promoter asked patrons to allow approximately 30 business days for the refund to appear in their account. That was the announced estimate, not confirmation of when an individual refund was processed or received. Frontier Touring’s event notice

No. RAC Arena currently lists Bryan Adams for 23 February 2027, with Natalie Imbruglia as special guest.
